The purpose of this page is to provide updates of Coyote Creek Golf Club as we all live through this trying time. Please forgive the rudimentary format as I am not a website developer, but feel that this is the best way to communicate to everyone the way we are dealing with this situation.
Coyote Creek Golf Club is closed per order of the governor.
We can no longer allow players on the golf course or practice facilities at all.
Originally, We chose to allow golfers for walking only and ,originally, this was deemed acceptable. However, on March 26th at approximately 3PM, the state reversed that decision.
My estimation is that without the supporting features the clubhouse provides (bathrooms, hand washing, emergency contact, etc.), golf course grounds were deemed hazardous for both health and safety.
I sincerely apologize for our state’s handling of this situation as it relates to the golf industry. To not provide clear direction originally. Then to make a decision one way only to reverse it, all in a matter of days shows both the gravity of the issue and the government’s struggle in handling it.
Given the fluidity thus far and the tireless work of all the partners within the Illinois golf industry, changes may be coming sooner than expected. Stay updated at this page and through our email network.
There’s still a lot of golf season left, We’re not going to let this setback keep us down and We are Never out.
